A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a middle school setting, located in Hoopeston, IL. The assignment provides support primarily to 7th and 8th graders, with additional responsibilities extending to high school students and early elementary grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to students across multiple grade levels.
- Manage and maintain a caseload in a single building environment.
- Support communication development for students in 7th and 8th grades, high school grades 9-12, and preschool through 5th grade.
- Collaborate with school staff to tailor therapy to student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience and skills in telespeech and teletherapy applications.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week, with flexibility to meet student needs.
- Competency working with middle and high school students, as well as elementary age children.
Assignment Details:
- Term: Current School Year (CSY), beginning ASAP through May 27, 2025.
- Caseload focuses on Northridge Middle School (grades 7-8) and Danville High School (grades 9-12), also supporting a PreK-5 building.
- One building assignment with integrated support between locations.
